Key Responsibilities
As a Code 10 Driver, your primary duties will include:

Scheduled Pick-Ups and Deliveries
- Safely transport goods to designated locations as per the company’s delivery schedule.
- Adhere to the route plans provided and ensure timely completion of all deliveries.

Safe Handling of Goods
- Ensure all items are securely loaded to prevent damage or loss during transit.
- Take every precaution to minimise stock losses and ensure goods are delivered in excellent condition.

Vehicle Maintenance and Reporting
- Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure the delivery vehicle is in good working condition.
- Complete vehicle logbooks accurately and report any issues promptly.

Stock Verification and Documentation
- Verify that all stock being loaded matches the delivery notes and invoices.
- Sign off on stock to confirm accuracy before leaving the depot.

Adherence to Health and Safety Protocols
- Follow all company health and safety regulations to ensure the well-being of yourself and others.
- Maintain a clean and organised delivery vehicle at all times.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a valid Code 10 (C) Driver’s Licence and Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
- Have at least 1-3 years of driving experience with Code 10 vehicles, preferably in the hardware or building material supply industry.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
- Be physically fit and capable of handling loading and offloading tasks when necessary.
- Exhibit good communication skills and professionalism when interacting with customers and team members.
