Job Advert Summary: 

Unitrans is seeking an experienced Code 14 Driver responsible for the safe transportation of goods to and from various customer sites. 

The role requires adherence to all road traffic regulations and company policies to ensure the safety of personnel, cargo, and equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Code EC driver's license with a Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience driving ultra-heavy vehicles.
• Proven track record of safe and efficient driving.
• Knowledge of road traffic regulations and routes within the Western Cape.
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance.
• Good communication skills and customer service orientation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Ensure cargo is loaded and secured properly.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle logs.
• Comply with all road traffic regulations and company policies.
• Report any incidents or mechanical issues promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
