Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications and criteria:
Licensing and Documentation
- Valid PRDP with at least 3 years of experience as a long-distance truck driver.
- Valid Driver’s License appropriate for heavy-duty vehicles.
- South African ID and Passport.
- SARS Letter (IT150) confirming tax compliance.
Skills and Knowledge
- Ability to operate a smartphone confidently, including navigating Google Maps and communicating effectively via WhatsApp.
- Familiarity with South African road networks and long-distance driving requirements.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for heavy-duty vehicle operation.
Experience
- Proven experience in long-distance truck driving, with a clean driving record.
- Ability to handle tight schedules and deadlines while maintaining safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
As a Long Distance Truck Driver at Hudson Transport, you will:
