Position Overview
As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact
for customers entering the store. You will process payments, ensure the resale
area is well-stocked, and maintain a clean and efficient workspace. This role
requires excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Interaction
- Greet
customers warmly with a smile and ensure they feel valued.
- Handle
customer questions and concerns professionally and efficiently.
2. Cash Handling and POS Operations
- Count
cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure accuracy and sufficient
change.
- Operate
point-of-sale tills with confidence and precision.
- Process
payments, issue receipts, and provide appropriate change.
- Perform
daily cash-ups and complete all related paperwork accurately.
3. Stock Management
- Ensure
resale area stock is displayed correctly and shelves are restocked daily.
- Monitor
and maintain fridges and displays to ensure products are appealing and
accessible.
4. Workspace Maintenance
- Keep
the till counter and surrounding areas clean and tidy.
- Ensure
front-of-house areas are presentable at all times.
5. Team Support
- Assist
both front-of-house and back-of-house teams with orders and operations.
- Support
colleagues during quieter periods by helping with cleaning and other
tasks.
6. End-of-Shift Procedures
- Ensure
end-of-shift cash-ups are conducted with the Admin Assistant or Admin
Manager.
- Prepare
and submit a daily sales analysis report.

Qualifications and Experience
- Grade
12/Matric Certificate is required.
- 2–4
years of experience in a similar role is essential.
