RCL Foods, a leading name in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Creditors Clerk to join its dynamic Accounts Payable team on a fixed-term contract.

As a Creditors Clerk, you’ll report to the Creditors Controller and take charge of maintaining accurate records for all suppliers conducting transactions with the business.

What We’re Looking For
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- Educational Background: A Matric certificate with strong results in mathematics and accountancy.
- Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a similar Creditors Clerk position.
- Advantageous Skills: Familiarity with Syspro or similar financial systems, as well as any relevant tertiary qualification.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Creditors Clerk at RCL Foods, your day-to-day responsibilities will include processing invoices and credit memos, ensuring compliance with VAT legislation, and verifying supplier details against the company’s Syspro system.
You’ll also oversee the reconciliation of supplier statements, resolve invoice queries, and prepare monthly creditors reconciliations before payment runs.
Additionally, you’ll handle long-outstanding queries, ensure accurate data capture, and maintain the GRN (Goods Received Note) account.
With responsibilities extending to general administrative tasks and ad-hoc requests, this role demands a proactive approach and keen attention to detail.
