Code 10 Driver Opportunity
Lactalis SA is offering a dynamic and fulfilling opportunity for an experienced Code 10 Driver to join its F/Goods Cheese department at the Bonnievale Plant in the Western Cape.
As a key player in the company’s supply chain, the Driver Code 10 will be responsible for the timely collection and transportation of materials critical to the plant’s operations.
This role is ideal for a professional driver who values safety, efficiency, and excellence in every journey.
In this position, you will handle daily tasks such as collecting packaging and raw materials from suppliers, ensuring their preservation during transit, and safely delivering them to the plant.
Your ability to handle return stock deliveries with precision and maintain accurate documentation will play a vital role in keeping the supply chain running smoothly.
Beyond driving, your contribution will extend to assisting with offloading, stacking, and picking goods in the warehouse, demonstrating versatility and teamwork.
Safety and professionalism are at the heart of this role. As a Code 10 Driver, you will be expected to perform pre- and post-trip inspections, monitor vehicle roadworthiness, and adhere strictly to all traffic regulations.
Regular reporting of vehicle conditions and operational deviations will ensure the fleet remains in top condition. Additionally, maintaining a clean and organised vehicle will reflect the high standards of Lactalis SA.
Strong communication and customer service skills are essential as you interact with suppliers and stakeholders, representing the company with professionalism and courtesy.

Candidates for this position must possess a Grade 12 qualification, a valid Code 10 Driver’s License with PrDP, and a forklift license.
